BRIEF PERSONAL WRITING INTRODUCTION
In order for a writer to appeal to their readers, they must have the ability to draw upon diverse life experiences to properly convey and capture an empathic story. My journalistic, literary, and editorial writing styles stem from my life experiences living and traveling around the world, experiencing history as it was happening, and my unique perspective on the world around me which these experiences afforded.
I am located in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) and can easily accommodate regional assignments. Travel within Ontario can be arranged on very little notice for non-regional assignments.
Writing experience in: business profiles, personality profiles, features, city-life, editorials, journalistic and literary styles. Both on-spec, and assigned.
Subject Matter experience: business profiling, city-life entertainment reviews and profiles, news/daily feature and news assignments, travel writing, "lifestyle/living" feature specialist, social issues and regional events features, interviews (all sorts), opinion & editorial pieces, often provide my own photos to accompany my non news-dailies' pieces.
